The only true success is that of the Hereafter."....al akhirahul kairun wa abaqah". The purpose of life is to worship Alah (SWT). "And I have not created the Jinn or Mankind except to worship me." All else is subsequent, and flows therefrom. "Everything else perishes but there abideth forever the Face of your Lord."

I think the brother right on point, true success is pleasing Allah in this world and the heret after. Allah created us to worship obey and worship him during our temporary stay in this world, and He will reward us in the here after. If you spent all your time in this world pursuing wolrdly pleasure and forget the purpose of your existance, to me you are a looser.
